Welcome to Watchfolio! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Watchfolio mobile application ("App") and any associated cloud synchronization services provided by Watchfolio ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not download, install, or use the App.

1. User Accounts and Authentication

Watchfolio allows you to manage your watch collection locally. For cloud synchronization features, the App provides sign-in integration via Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google or Apple account credentials used to log in.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
• We are not liable for any losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

2. Cloud Synchronization and Storage

By logging in and enabling cloud synchronization, you authorize Watchfolio to sync and back up your watch collection details (such as names, purchase details, notes) and uploaded images (photos, receipts, warranty cards) to our cloud servers.

• You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload ("User Content").
• We do not guarantee permanent storage or synchronization of your data. We recommend maintaining local backups of your records.
• We reserve the right to establish storage limits, change backend providers, or suspend synchronization services at any time.

3. Lume AI Horological Assistant

Watchfolio includes Lume, an AI-powered horological assistant designed to suggest watches from your collection based on your day, mood, or attire.

• Lume's suggestions and horological information are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
• We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated content. Use of AI recommendations is entirely at your own risk.

4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree to use Watchfolio in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

• Upload or store content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
• Use the App to distribute malware, virus, or any other harmful code.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with the security controls, authentication systems, or servers of the App.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App's binary files or codebase.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ASSOCIATED CLOUD SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE SECURE, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WATCHFOLIO AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THE SERVICES.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
