Watchfolio ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application, Watchfolio.

1. Information We Collect

• a. Personal & Account Information (Google & Apple Sign-In): You can use Watchfolio offline without creating an account. However, if you choose to enable cloud synchronization, we require you to sign in using your Google or Apple account. When you do so, we collect your email address, name, profile picture (for Google), and a unique user identifier provided by the authentication provider. This is used to create and manage your user account.
• b. Watch Collection & Sync Data: When cloud synchronization is enabled, the watch details you input (names, purchase prices, purchase dates, notes) and images you upload (photos, warranty cards, receipts) are securely transmitted to and stored on our cloud servers. If you use the app without signing in, all watch collection data is stored strictly locally on your device.
• c. Support & Feedback: If you contact us via email, we collect your email address and the content of your message to resolve your request.

2. Device Permissions

Watchfolio may request the following permissions to function correctly:

• Storage/Photos: To allow you to select and display photos of your watches.
• Camera: To allow you to take new photos of your timepieces for your collection.

3. Data Storage & Cloud Services

If you use the app offline, your data is managed through local repositories stored on your device. When you sign in and enable cloud sync, your watch collection data and uploaded assets are securely synchronized and hosted on cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest to ensure your collection remains secure.

4. Data Deletion and Retention

We retain your synced collection data for as long as your account is active. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated cloud-synced data at any time via the settings menu in the mobile app, or by contacting us at watchfolio.team@gmail.com.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
